About Me
With 30 years experience as a psychologist, I have come to appreciate the uniqueness of each person who visits me for therapy.
My aim is to help people to enhance their self-awareness - emotionally, cognitively, physically
- to assist them in making life-affirming choices and taking positive action.
In my work, I draw on the principles of humanistic and relational psychotherapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy.
I am skilled in the use of diagnostic assessment tools, advanced reflective listening, cognitive therapy, strength-based questioning,
motivational interviewing, behavioural skills training, imagery rehearsal therapy and mindfulness.
